If I may, I'd like to offer some basic advice on the photography of your work.  If you're using a digital cam with a few features on it, you may want to switch to either macro function or manual spot focus (to focus on the piece instead of the backdrop).  I would also recommend increasing your shutter speed (a higher number) for a darker image.  This will reduce the glare from the flash on the pewter, thus letting us see more detail.
